Preview: Springport Spartans vs. Hillsdale Hornets
Springport has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will take on the Hillsdale Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Springport focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
Even though Springport has not done well against Vandercook Lake recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way. Springport came out on top against Vandercook Lake by a score of 46-39.
Springport can attribute much of their success to Braydon Hawes, who almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 9 assists, and 9 blocks. That makes it two consecutive games in which Hawes has scored at least 25% of Springport's points. Jake Kregel was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, Hillsdale beat Jonesville 50-40 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hillsdale.

Springport took a serious blow against Hillsdale in their previous meeting back in January, falling 62-22. Can Springport avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
