Volleyball Recap: CHESS Christian Comes Up Short

CHESS Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Marion H on Saturday. The Royals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Izzy Geise paced CHESS Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Geise got some help from Sofia Tumpak and her ten assists.

CHESS Christian now has a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, CHESS Christian will welcome Dominion Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Royals their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Marion H, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kingsway Christian at 3:30 p.m. on September 20.
