South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Deerfield Spartans by a score of 2-0. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Sarah Elmore paced South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett]'s offense, picking up 12 kills. Elmore got some help from Eliana Gutierrez and her 17 assists. Brielle Bond controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett]'s win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Deerfield, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

Coincidentally, South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] and Deerfield will both be playing Moscow the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Spartans will host them on Monday.
