Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Gets the Win

Victory Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Agape Christian Knights.

Victory Christian Academy's offense was headlined by Laura Winslow and Olivia Buettner, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Nellie Stinson and her eight assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Victory Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Agape Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Victory Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against First Baptist Academy on the 27th. As for Agape Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Meridian on the 30th.
