Football Game Preview: Richland Bombers vs. Chiawana Riverhawks + Official Tickets

The Richland Bombers will head out to challenge the Chiawana Riverhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Richland 8.6, Chiawana 5.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Friday, Richland made easy work of Walla Walla and carried off a 28-7 win. The Bombers haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Chiawana faced Kennewick in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Riverhawks took down the Lions 24-10.

Chiawana's win came from a few key players Richland will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Emmett Osterdock, who threw for 136 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Richland's record is now 6-1. As for Chiawana, their record now sits at 7-0.

Richland took a serious blow against Chiawana in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 42-13. Can the Bombers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
