Volleyball Recap: Deep Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Deep Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Hickory Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 20-25, 25-17, 25-15.

Deep Creek's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hickory, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Deep Creek is set to square off against their familiar foe Great Bridge at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hickory will challenge rival King's Fork at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
