Football Recap: Daphne Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Daphne couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They had to suffer through a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Auburn Tigers. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Christian Segar threw for 104 yards on 18 of 29 attempts. On the ground, LaBrayln Williams rushed for 43 yards.

Jaeden King had an outrageously good game for Auburn as he rushed for 115 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries. What's more, King racked up 11 receiving yards, the most he's had since back in August.

Daphne's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Auburn, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Daphne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Auburn, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 31-28 defeat against Opelika on the 21st.
