Softball Game Preview: Liberty Christian Lions vs. Anderson Indians

Liberty Christian hasn't had much luck against Anderson recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lions will challenge the Indians at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Liberty Christian faced off against Greenwood Christian Academy on Monday. The Lions came up short against the Cougars, falling 12-4. The loss put an end to the Lions' undefeated start to the season.

Avari Stanley was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Anderson was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 14-0 to Hamilton Heights. The Indians have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Having lost for the first time this season, Liberty Christian fell to 2-1. As for Anderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
