Soccer Recap: South Lakes Takes a Loss

South Lakes was the 2-1 winner over Westfield when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Seahawks fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Monday. South Lakes just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

South Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Westfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-1-1 record this season.

South Lakes will head out on the road to face off against Centreville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Westfield, they will host West Springfield at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Westfield are on a five-game streak of home wins, West Springfield a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
