Volleyball Game Preview: Foxcroft vs. Highland Hawks

Foxcroft hasn't had much luck against Highland recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Foxcroft will square off against Highland at 4:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Foxcroft came up short against Quantico and fell 3-1. While Foxcroft didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Quantico 25-20 in the first set.

Foxcroft started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-17, 25-11, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Highland made easy work of Tandem Friends on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Badgers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-21.

Highland found their leader in freshman Olivia Dart, who had 29 assists and two aces.

The victory got Highland back to even at 7-7. As for Foxcroft, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Foxcroft might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Highland in their previous matchup back in September. Can Foxcroft avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
