Basketball Recap: Oklahoma City S Starts off Right with Win over Mercy School Institute

Oklahoma City S had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Mercy School Institute Mustangs 82-17. With the Storm ahead 35-5 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Tyce Fulton had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Thompson, who went 8-for-14 on his way to 18 points and five steals.

When it comes to explaining why Mercy School Institute lost, don't look at Taim Salkini. Despite the final result, he posted nine points.

Mercy School Institute is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Oklahoma City S will face off against Edmond Santa Fe at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Mercy School Institute, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 83-40 victory against Gracemont on the 11th.
