Softball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Grace Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since May 7, 2024 on Friday. They lost 12-5 to the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Hayden Hill made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Hailey Fiegle, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Grace Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Grace Christian Academy has already played their next game (against Cheatham County Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they will head out on the road to square off against Science Hill at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Hilltoppers will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
