Despite their defeat, Camp Verde saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Justin Smith, who rushed for 153 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, was perhaps the best of all. With that strong performance, Smith is now averaging an impressive 103.8 rushing yards per game. Brayden Walsworth was another key signal caller, throwing for 148 yards and two touchdowns.
