Volleyball Recap: Los Altos Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Los Altos waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Del Mar Dons by a score of 2-0.

Los Altos never let Del Mar on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 26-24.

Los Altos' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joesph Tadros, who had 27 assists and four digs. Tadros is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. Suren Oorzhal also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Los Altos pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Del Mar, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2.

Los Altos has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Gunn on the 15th. As for Del Mar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Milpitas on the 15th.
