Soccer Game Preview: Lewisville vs. York Prep

Lewisville is 1-7 against York Prep since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Lewisville Lions will head out to face off against the York Prep Patriots at 5:00 p.m.

Lewisville is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Governor's School for Science & Math on Tuesday. Lewisville took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Governor's School for Science & Math.

Lewisville's goal came courtesy of Marcel Fee, who's now up to nine this season.

Meanwhile, York Prep's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over North Central. Even though the Patriots got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Jack Bruner was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Lewisville's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for York Prep, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.
