Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain View Eagles vs. West Scranton Invaders

Mountain View is on a four-game streak of home losses, and West Scranton a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Mountain View Eagles will look to defend their home court against the West Scranton Invaders at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Mountain View lost 3-0 to Western Wayne on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-12.

Meanwhile, West Scranton came up short against Valley View on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for West Scranton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Mountain View took their victory against West Scranton when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Invaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
