Baseball Recap: Sebastopol Takes a Loss

After flying high against Forest last Saturday, Sebastopol came back down to earth. The Bobcats came up short against the Union Yellowjackets on Tuesday, falling 12-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bobcats have suffered against the Yellowjackets since March 12, 2019.

Colby Dooley was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Nate Johnson also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Sebastopol has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-6 record this season. As for Union, their record is now 13-8.

While Sebastopol had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
