Softball Recap: Richton Rebels vs. Raleigh Lions
Richton lost against Raleigh back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Richton Rebels suffered a tough 11-1 defeat at the hands of the Raleigh Lions. Richton has not had much luck with Raleigh recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
For Raleigh's part, Tatum Bowen was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Bowen is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lydia Bryant, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Richton's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8. As for Raleigh, their victory bumped their record up to 10-15.
Richton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Raleigh also has no future games currently scheduled.
