While Mountain Grove's win against Cuba wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Wildcats on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Mountain Grove now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Cuba, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Grove will venture away from home to take on Mansfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cuba, they will head out to face off against New Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
