Basketball Recap: Zanesville Gets the Win

Zanesville won the last time they faced Watkins Memorial and things went their way on Thursday too. The Zanesville Blue Devils escaped with a win against the Watkins Memorial Warriors by the margin of a single free throw, 47-46. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Zanesville found their leader in sophomore Lucca Wood, who went 8 for 16 en route to 20 points and six boards. David Evans was another key player, putting up six points.

Zanesville pushed their record up to 7-9 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
