Baseball Recap: Estill County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bardstown on Saturday, Estill County came back down to earth. The Engineers came up short against the Lincoln County Patriots on Saturday, falling 16-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Engineers have suffered since March 20th.

Estill County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jakston Schnarr, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Estill County's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Lincoln County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Estill County will face off against Powell County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln County, they will be playing at home against Boyle County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
