Soccer Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Sodus' Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Sodus unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Gananda Central Blue Panthers by a score of 4-3. Sodus were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Gananda Central apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Sodus' defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Gananda Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Sodus and Gananda Central will both be playing Red Creek the next time they take the pitch. The Spartans will host the Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Blue Panthers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
