Basketball Recap: Peddie Comes Up Short

Peddie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 33-28 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kent Place Dragons. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 39-36 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Peddie's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kent Place, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peddie will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Blair Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Kent Place also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Hillside at 11:30 a.m. on January 4, 2025.
