Baseball Recap: Mingo Central Takes a Loss

Mingo Central came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-4 to the James Monroe Mavericks.

Mingo Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Corey Mahon, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Mingo Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for James Monroe, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-12.

As of now, neither Mingo Central nor the Mavericks have any future games scheduled.
