Softball Recap: Randolph Takes a Loss

Randolph lost to Thetford Academy back in May of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Ghosts came up short against the Panthers, falling 10-1. The Ghosts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Randolph saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Stockwell, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Randolph's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Thetford Academy, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-10.

Coming up, Randolph will square off against Lyndon Institute at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ghosts will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests. As for Thetford Academy, they will challenge Spaulding at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
