St. Augustine Prep got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 61-54 win over the Egg Harbor Township Eagles on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Hermits, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Augustine Prep has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Egg Harbor Township, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-3.

St. Augustine Prep has already played their next game (against Hamilton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Egg Harbor Township didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-44 victory against Bridgeton on the 13th.
