Basketball Recap: Leopold Comes Up Short

If Leopold was feeling good fresh off their 70-40 takedown of Oak Ridge on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats took a 47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bell City Cubs on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Cubs: they've now lost three in a row.

Leopold's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Bell City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leopold will square off against Campbell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bell City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Zalma at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
