Softball Recap: Pine Plains Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tuckahoe, Pine Plains was happy to have turned things around on Sunday. They had just enough and edged out the Ardsley Panthers 11-10. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bombers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Pine Plains' win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Ardsley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.

Coming up, Pine Plains will take on Webutuck at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Bombers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Ardsley, they are taking a road trip to face off against Sleepy Hollow at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
