Volleyball Recap: Gordon Lee Takes Down Model in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Gordon Lee walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Model Blue Devils on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won three in a row.

Gordon Lee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-23, 25-13, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Kynidie Gaffin, who had 15 digs and three aces.

Gaffin wasn't the only good servers: Gordon Lee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 23 consecutive matches.

Gordon Lee's record is now 38-10. As for Model, they moved to 36-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
