Mathew Dirks Game Report: vs Springfield

Mathew Dirks posted a new career-low in earned runs on Tuesday. He was dialed in as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Springfield last Monday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Dirks and Kirkwood will head out on the road to take on Logan County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cobras will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 215 places lower in their respective states), but they're not letting that get them down.
