Baseball Recap: McNary Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, McNary was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against the West Salem Titans, falling 8-0. The Celtics just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row.

Cash Martin was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off six hits.

McNary's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for West Salem, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-10 record.

While McNary had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
