Volleyball Recap: Osseo Takes a Loss

Osseo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Anoka Tornadoes.

The 3-1 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23.

Osseo's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Anoka, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Osseo will square off against rival Spring Lake Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Anoka is set to face off against their familiar foe Irondale at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
