Basketball Game Preview: Granville Blue Aces vs. Licking Heights Hornets

The Granville Blue Aces will square off against the Licking Heights Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Granville is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

Last Friday, Granville didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Zanesville, but they still walked away with a 50-46 win. Given the Blue Aces' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 426th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Licking Heights didn't have too much trouble with Bishop Watterson on Monday as they won 52-38.

Licking Heights has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Granville, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
