St. Georges Tech is a perfect 4-0 against Christiana since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Hawks will challenge the Vikings at 3:45 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

St. Georges Tech is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Smyrna, who was ranked third at the time (St. Georges Tech was ranked seventh). The Hawks came up short against the Eagles last Thursday, falling 5-0. St. Georges Tech have struggled against Smyrna recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Christiana fell victim to Brandywine and their airtight defense last Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that Christiana have lost by exactly seven goals.

Christiana's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. Georges Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Everything went St. Georges Tech's way against Christiana in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as St. Georges Tech made off with a 7-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
