Volleyball Game Preview: Liberty Lions vs. Colts Neck Cougars

The Liberty Lions will head out to square off against the Colts Neck Cougars at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Liberty beat Donovan Catholic 2-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Colts Neck duked it out with Middletown North on Wednesday. The Cougars came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Liberty's record is now 9-4. As for Colts Neck, their record now sits at 10-5.

Liberty beat Colts Neck 2-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
