Recap: Spring Hill Raiders vs. Marshall County Tigers
The Spring Hill Raiders's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 39-34 W over Marshall County. The victory was all the more spectacular given Spring Hill's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while Marshall County is ranked 64th).
Spring Hill was led to victory by Mariya Ramzy and Jeycelyn Brashear. Ramzy scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals, while Brashear scored 7 points along with 15 rebounds and 9 blocks. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Ramzy has scored at least 25% of Spring Hill's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alayzia Harrison, who scored 9 points.
Spring Hill's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Marshall County, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-1.
Spring Hill will stay at home for another game and welcome Grace Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Grace Christian Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Marshall County, they will head out on the road to face off against Fairview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
