Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the South Seneca Falcons, falling 73-42. While losing is never fun, the Bombers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 681st, while the Falcons are ranked 149th).

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for South Seneca, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield will face off against Honeoye at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th. As for South Seneca, they will square off against Red Jacket at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Seneca knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Red Jacket likes a good challenge.
