Globe had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Apache Junction Prospectors on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Globe's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-13. As for Apache Junction, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Globe will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Coolidge at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Apache Junction, they will head out on the road to take on Santa Cruz Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
