Flag Football Game Preview: Evans Knights vs. Clarke Central Gladiators + How To Watch

The Evans Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Clarke Central Gladiators at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Evans' defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so Clarke Central's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Tuesday, Evans was just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to Lakeside.

Despite the defeat, Evans had strong showings from Sadie Morningstar, who picked up 49 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Kyleigh Chase, who picked up 53 receiving yards and one score.

Even if they lost, Evans' defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Mikerria Hudson. She also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with eight.

Meanwhile, Clarke Central entered their tilt with Cedar Shoals on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 26-0 margin over the Jaguars. The Gladiators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Clarke Central's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Evans, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
