Volleyball Recap: Alma Cardinals vs. Arapahoe Warriors

Alma lost against Arapahoe back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Tierston Moore paced Alma's offense, picking up 14 kills. Moore got some help from Kamryn Scott and her 20 assists. Vayden Epp and Player #28 kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Leading Arapahoe to victory were Suttyn Shafer and Chloe Gooden. Shafer had 11 digs, while Gooden had four digs. Shafer is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Alma's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Arapahoe, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Alma wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Superior on the 27th. Arapahoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
