Watch the state's No. 2 team win its 22nd straight game.

Despite a lopsided win in its only game of the week, St. Edward dropped from No. 1 to No. 3 in the latest MaxPreps Ohio state boys basketball rankings.

The Eagles (22-1) defeated Normandy (Parma) 79-46 but fell behind new No. 1 St. Vincent St. Mary (19-4) and No. 2 Archbishop Moeller (23-1).

St. Vincent St. Mary, the alma mater of LeBron James, won two games last week to move from No. 2 to No. 1 with triumphs over Shaker Heights (55-51) and Orange (65-22).

Moeller won its 22nd straight game with a 79-39 victory over Western Hills two days after putting a 52-11 stranglehold on Colerain.

La Salle (22-3) was the only Ohio team to sneak into the Top 10 from its previous No. 11 spot.

Sixth-ranked University (Morgantown, WV) is included in the Ohio rankings by the MaxPreps computer because it is a member of the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference.

Below is a full look at the Top 25. The rankings are updated every Tuesday and Friday.
