Soccer Recap: Rocky River Comes Up Short

Rocky River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Providence Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Providence this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in March.

Rocky River's loss dropped their record down to 0-10-2. As for Providence, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Rocky River and Providence will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Ravens see the pitch they'll take on Independence at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Providence, their break will end when they face Garinger at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
