Baseball Recap: Bluffton Comes Up Short

Bluffton managed to slip by Genoa Area the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pirates lost 14-1 to the Comets on Saturday. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Bluffton's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Genoa Area, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-6.

Looking ahead, Bluffton will challenge Lima Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Genoa Area, they will square off against Oak Harbor at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
