Andrews falls despite big games from Vincent Rhue and Lavon White

Recap: Andrews Yellowjackets vs. Lee Central Stallions

The Andrews Yellowjackets were the 38-31 winner over the Lee Central Stallions when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Andrews fell 37-29 to Lee Central on Tuesday. Andrews found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post eight fewer assists than your opponent.

Lavon White and Vincent Rhue certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. White scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Rhue scored seven points along with five rebounds and four steals. White is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played.

Lee Central found their leader in underclassman Kiauj Allen, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Demarius Gregg was another key contributor, scoring three points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Andrews dropped their record down to 9-12 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lee Central, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Andrews does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lee Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Kingstree at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lee Central is facing Kingstree at the right time seeing as Kingstree is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
