Football Recap: Copper Basin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Copper Basin and Clay County squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Copper Basin had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Bulldogs 40-6. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in November of 2020.

When it comes to explaining why Copper Basin lost, don't look at Nathan Spencer. Despite the final result, he rushed for 60 yards and one TD on only five carries.

Copper Basin's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Clay County, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

As of now, neither Copper Basin nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
