Preview: Tyrone vs. Waynoka
If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Tyrone. They will be playing at home against Waynoka at at 7:00 PM on Thursday. Tyrone have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Waynoka are surely hoping to exploit.
After some red-hot point totals in their last 4 games, Tyrone fizzled out last Friday. They were given a punishing 0-44 loss at the hands of Buffalo. The low total for Tyrone limited their streak of high-flying scores to four in a row.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Waynoka, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They got past Boise City with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 22-16.
Tyrone took their contest against Waynoka the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 46-14 score. Will Tyrone repeat their success, or does Waynoka have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
