Football Recap: Bethel Park Comes Up Short

The matchup between Bethel Park and Upper St. Clair on Friday hardly resembled the 14-10 effort from their previous meeting. The Black Hawks lost 57-32 to the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Black Hawks have suffered since November 15, 2024.

Dante Coury produced another solid performance rushing for 144 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry for Upper St. Clair. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Coury a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Hellmann, who threw for 159 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes.

Bethel Park's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Upper St. Clair, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.
