Baseball Recap: Bryan Comes Up Short

Bryan fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Perrysburg on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 9-8. The Golden Bears have struggled against the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Perrysburg, they moved to 15-7 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Bryan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Perrysburg, they are taking a road trip to take on Elmwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Yellow Jackets 3.7, the Royals 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
