Volleyball Recap: New Knoxville Takes a Loss

New Knoxville kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Calvert Senecas. If the Rangers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Senecas when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Avery Albers paced New Knoxville's offense, picking up five kills. Albers got some help from Addi Albers and her six assists. Lela Gottschalk controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

New Knoxville has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Memorial on the 16th. As for Calvert, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against St. Henry on the 16th.
