Basketball Recap: Information Tech Skates Past Energy Tech with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Information Tech). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Energy Tech 76-47. Information Tech has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

The win (which was Information Tech's third in a row) raised their record to 5-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.3 points. As for Energy Tech, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Information Tech and Energy Tech could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Information Tech will face off against Academy of American Studies at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th down 382 places (513 vs. 131). Meanwhile, Energy Tech (ranked 701st) will meet Scholars Academy (ranked 145th) at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th.
